It's time to desist from attempts to shake off
This state of disconnect
It has always kept me company
Since I can't remember when
Oddly enough I would never say
My pursuits are that unique
Yet I've become a maverick
In the eyes of normal breed
Indeed, ignorance is bliss

I've gotten used to undissembled shrugging
And the quizzical expression on the face

They wouldn't know about my inner conflicts
And all the sacrifice
While I don't get their vanity
And inflated sense of pride
To them I'm another clueless loser
Unable to compete
To me they are bunch of jumping jacks
Like some characters in Sims
We are agree to disagree
